Call for Proposals: Luxembourg-Korea Joint research Programme LUXKOR (Quantum Technology) and Webinar on Programme (April 15)

룩셈부르크 연구재단 (FNR)과 한국연구재단(NRF)은 한국과 룩셈부르크 양국 간 국제협력을 통한 과학기술 경쟁력 강화를 위해 "2026년도 룩셈부르크-한국 양자기술 공동연구사업"을 공모 하오니 연구자분들의 많은 관심과 참여 바랍니다. 또한, 4월 15일(수) 오후 4시 사업 내용 및 공모 추진 방법 등에 대한 연구자 이해도 제고를 위하여 아래와 같이 웨비나(Webinar)를 개최하오니 연구과제 신청을 희망하는 연구자 및 참여(관계)자들의 참여 바랍니다.

1. 지원 분야

• 양자통신, 양자컴퓨터 간 인터페이스 및 통신

2. 지원 목적

• 한-룩셈부르크 연구자 간 공동연구 촉진을 통해 양국 과학기술 협력발전 도모 및 협력 강화

• 양국 협력을 통해 시너지 효과가 기대되는 분야 중심으로 공동연구 지원

3. 지원 규모

• 연구비: 과제당 연간 (한국측) 100백만원 이내, (룩셈부르크측) 7만 유로

• 선정과제 수: 3개 내외

4. 지원 조건

• 한국과 룩셈부르크를 대표하는 공동 연구책임자 2인 (양측 각 1인: PI, Co-PI) 이상으로 구성

• 각 국가별 책임 연구자는 해당 연구 자금 지원 기관에 (NFR 또는 FNR) 제안서를 제출해야 함

5. 지원 마감일

• 한국연구재단 (NRF): 2026.5.12 (화) 오후 6시까지 (한국 시간)

• 룩셈부르크 연구재단 (FNR): 2026.5.13 (수) 오후 4시까지 (룩셈부르크 시간)

The Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR) and the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF) are launching the 2026 Luxembourg–Korea Joint Research Projects call, following the successful pilot call in 2024. This programme aims to expand cooperation between researchers in both countries and promote joint research initiatives.

Also, On April 15, the Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR) and the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF) invite researchers to an information webinar dedicated to the Joint Call for Proposals for the Korea–Luxembourg Joint Research Program in Quantum Technology. This webinar will be an excellent opportunity to learn about the objectives of the call and the application process. We look forward to the active participation of researchers and stakeholders wishing to apply for this research project.

1. Research Areas

• Quantum Communications

• Interfaces and communication between quantum computers

2. Objectives

• Establish new bilateral research cooperation networks between Korea and Luxembourg

• Strengthen and expand existing collaborations

• Create a long-term foundation for international research cooperation through joint research

3. Funding

• Total joint funding: about 400.000 EUR

• Number of projects to be funded: 3

4. Eligibility

• Proposals must be submitted by joint research teams consisting of at least one principal investigator from Korea and one from Luxembourg
