고양시에 룩셈부르크 국립보건원 한국 대표사무소 개소

4월 1일, 고양스마트시티 오픈랩에서 룩셈부르크 국립보건원 한국 대표사무소 현판식이 열렸다. 고양시는 룩셈부르크 국립보건원 한국 대표사무소 개소를 계기로 글로벌 건강데이터 인프라 구축과 인공지능 기반 정밀의료 연구 사업을 본격적으로 추친할 계획이다. 이날, 국립보건원 한국 대표사무소는 고양시, 정밀의료 플랫폼 기업 싸이퍼롬과 바이오산업 육성을 위한 3자 업무협약도 체결했다. 협약에 따라 △룩셈부르크 국립보건원 한국 사무소의 안정적 정착 및 연구 성과 창출 △고양시 바이오산업 육성을 위한 국제공동연구 △시민 건강 증진을 위한 공공보건 협력 등을 공동 추진한다.

Luxembourg Institute of Health opens Liaison Office in Goyang City

On 1 April, a plaque unveiling ceremony of the Luxembourg Institute of Health (LIH) Liaison Office was held at the Goyang Smart City Open Lab. 

With the opening of the LIH Liaison Office in Goyang, they will actively pursue the establishment of a global health data infrastructure and AI-based precision medicine research projects. 

Also, MOU was also signed between Goyang city, LIH, and Cipherome to foster bio-industry. Under the agreement, 1) they will jointly promote the stable establishment of the LIH Liaison office and the creation of research results, 2) international joint research to foster the bio-industry in Goyang City, and 3) public health cooperation to promote citizens' health.
