Exobiosphere Wins $1 Million Investment on Meet the Drapers, accelerating Space-Based Drug Discovery

April 1, 2026: Exobiosphere, a Luxembourg space biotechnology company, announced that it has won a $1 million investment on Meet the Drapers, the globally broadcast venture capital competition created and hosted by billionaire investor Tim Draper in Silicon Valley. From thousands of global applicants, Exobiosphere rose to the top, battling some of the world’s most promising startups across three intense rounds to ultimately emerge as the winner of Meet the Drapers. The victory, revealed in the season finale, which aired on March 31, 2026, marks a landmark moment for the growing space and life sciences ecosystem.

Exobiosphere is leading a new era of biomedical research by taking high-throughput biology into space. The company’s proprietary Orbital High-Throughput Screening (OHTS) platform enables pharmaceutical and biotech partners to conduct automated, large-scale compound screening and disease modeling in microgravity, unlocking cellular behaviors and therapeutic insights that cannot be replicated under Earth conditions.
