Luxembourg film productions starred at festivals in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
We had the great pleasure to partner again with San Francisco's acclaimed Berlin & Beyond film festival, the Week of French Cinema in Los Angeles and the Francophonie Short-Film Night at the Alliance Française in San Francisco.
The selected films were:
"More than ever", Samsa Film, directed by Emily Atef, starring Luxembourg actress Vicky Krieps.
"The Mariana Trench”, Samsa Film, directed by Eileen Byrne, starring Luna Wedler and Edgar Selge.
"Caroline on the roof", Calach Films, directed by Alejandro Bordier.
With 45 productions a year, Luxembourg's film industry continues to expand its international presence, and the films selected for those festivals are powerful examples of the creativity and storytelling talent emerging from our country.
